How to keep up a good corporate social media account

Most of us want to have a good social media account. If you are wondering what the right way to do that is by adhering to a few norms and conditions while maintaining your social networking is the key to what you are looking for. It all lies in the quality and consistency of the content you want to post. Any individual can visit your social media page just to check out what the neo-trend is or whatever the reason maybe. If you are not following the guidelines then pay attention, it might lead to not having a not so prominent effect on the customers trust in the brand. A good social media platform will give more trust to the customer as most of them would have already formed an opinion about your brand just looking at your social media.

Font ( size and name )

It is good to have two font sizes in your post. A combination of a big font and a small font would be perfect but the task is to maintain the same throughout your social media feed. A bigger font can be used to ask a question or grab attention while the second font can be used to answer or explain the content or vice versa. Posts with two different sizes is definitely going to make it look more attractive than only one size used throughout the page.

Apart from the size and type of fonts, the color of the font is also sensitive, the usage of the color for the typography should be consistent. If you are using two different colors make sure the two colors compliment the background color of the post.

Theme background

Try to have a consistent background color it makes the page look neat and clean. Say if you are planning to use red as a background theme and later you decide to use yellow as a theme after a few posts. Is it recommendable? Well, it won’t be a big issue, but make sure the background color you are going to use freshly, compliments the previous one.

Yes, but what if I want to get back to red again, is it recommendable? It won’t be a problem as long as you are using the same color code.

Play around with colors but be responsible, too much color can make it look too dirty. But if you are not sure of using multiple color themes just stick to one specific color code and use that throughout.

Split grid culture or Puzzle on Instagram

If you are active on Instagram, you might have noticed the split grids have been widely used right from corporate companies to celebrities.

This is nothing but breaking a single picture into three or more different posts which when aligned together looks like a single portrait this makes the page look more attractive and eye-catching.

There are few apps that will help you create these grids.

1.Giant Square

2. 9 Square

3. Grid Post

Stories

Keep your audience engaged. Post at least one story a day (if you have the content) nevertheless make use of stories to interact with the audience, to give a quick shoutout or just a small message to your audience.

Do not forget to use hashtags on stories too (up to 5), this has the potential to drive a few new audiences.

Know ur timing

There are a lot of websites that tell you at what days and time to post. According to me Wednesday, Friday, Sunday from 8-10 PM or 8-10 AM would be an ideal time to post. But try out a few posts on different timings “initially” and see what time gives you more views on your post. In order to analyze the activity of the posts, timing and hashtag are really crucial when social media is concerned. So please don’t post it whenever you can.

Use relevant hashtags

Hashtags are a catalyst for reaching out to the larger audience. But be smart and choose the hashtags your audience would be interested in, do not use hashtags just because it has a huge follower base.

You can use up to 30 hashtags which mean you have 30 different opportunities to reach out to your audience, also have your own hashtag and use it in all your posts. 4-5 hashtags would be ideal for Facebook and LinkedIn. Keep changing the hashtags frequently this will help with better reach out.

1M+ MENTIONS

Using a hashtag with over 1M mentions will be hard to get noticed unless your engagement rate is spectacular.

500,000+ MENTIONS

A competitive space but with great content and great engagement you'll get good traction here.

250,000+ MENTIONS -

With great content, you'll get targeted interaction in a hashtag of this size!

250,000 MENTIONS -

Use smaller tags (even below 50k!) for pointy, targeted niches that could see your content being seen over a few days - rather than a few hours!

Testimonials are important

Testimonials are important and the Power of customers is supreme.

You can either post the testimonial on your feed or share it with your story. This gives a lot of credibility to your product or service for a new client coming on your page. Also, do not force your customer. This keeps it real.

Plan for the month

Have a monthly plan before you start posting anything, know how your page is going to look after a month. This will help you foresee things and you will not miss out on any events. It will give you more time to work on the content. There are a lot of apps which will help you to do so.
